PITFALL! Android Gameplay

Pitfall! is an arcade-style platform game that David Crane created in 1982 for the Atari 2600 and that Activision released in 1983. The game has a jungle adventure theme, and in order to move on to the next stage, the player must solve a number of challenges and puzzles. To finish each level of the game, players must slide under rocks, scale trees, avoid hazards like venomous snakes and buzz saws, and more.

Pitfall Harry, who assumes the part of an orphan whose only chance of survival depends on discovering the previously buried potent artefact known as the Golden Shower, is the protagonist of the first-person shooter. The player must manoeuvre through the underbrush, dodging obstacles, and looking for the Golden Shower in order to reach this secret spot. If it is discovered, it will open a staircase that leads to a large entrance where a broad range of creatures are ready to attack Pitfall when he approaches. Various artefacts will drop from the sky along the route, giving Pitfall the ability to advance deeper into the jungle.

Both of the game's versions for the Motorola Motoroi and Apple IIgs work without a hitch.
